Purpose of the processing of personal data
The purpose of the processing of personal data is to maintain contact with customers and to carry out customer relationship management and marketing activities.
Register data content
The data content consists of the following:
- Person’s name
- Company’s name and ID
- Mail, invoicing and banking details
- Telephone number and email address
- Information about product and service orders
- Other information required by the customer relationship and service that has been disclosed by the customer
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of this information and for updating it as necessary.
Regular sources of data
Data stored in the register is received from the customer by means such as email, telephone, social media services, customer meetings and other occasions in which the customer discloses their data.
As a rule, data is not disclosed to other parties. However, if it is a question of a partner through which the product is delivered, the necessary address details will be disclosed.
Data may be disclosed to authorities if they present a request based on Finnish law.
Invoicing-related data may be disclosed to parties that transmit payments.
Register protection principles
When processing the register, we act with particular diligence and information systems are appropriately protected with passwords and firewalls. Databases can be accessed only by persons that have been appointed in advance.
We destroy obsolete customer data appropriately. Due to obligations defined in the Accounting Act, some data may need to be stored for a longer period of time.
Right to access, rectify and erase customer data
Each person with data in the register has the right to access the data stored about them in the register and request the rectification of any erroneous data or the complementing of deficient data. The person also has the right to request the erasure of their personal data from the register.
