Villa Puolukka - a log cottage on the peaceful east side of Lake Ouluvesi, near Ähtäri town centre.
Log-built Villa Puolukka provides 116 m2 of living space and it was built in 2009. This villa has three bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people in total, two toilets (one on each floor), and a sauna complete with large shower room and changing room. It is set within wonderful, rocky lakeside scenery on the eastern side of the lake Ouluvesi.
Villa Puolukka has a terrace area equipped with a gas burning barbeque, a rowing boat with life jackets, and for the fisherman, a fish cleaning table near the lake. A log-built grill cabin is ideal for leisurely evening gatherings and barbeque parties.
Villa Puolukka also has a hot tub, which is perfect for relaxing sauna evenings and for a dip in the lake from your private jetty.
Hyvölä Houses is the perfect setting for a fishing holiday, as you may rent a motorboat of your choice (fwith a motor from 4 up to 50 hp motor) and fishing equipment or even hire the villa host as a guide in order to secure the catch. In wintertime, along with the skiing, fishing with nets and ice fishing are popular activities. The likely catch could include zander, pike and perch. Jigging tasty perch is especially popular.
Directly next door to the villa is the great outdoors, perfect for picking mushrooms and berries.
Ähtäri Zoo with its Snow Panda House and 18-hole Ähtäri golf course, with its amazing lake view, are both located close by. The ‘Village shop’ Keskinen is a mere 25 minutes’ drive away.
