Log-built Villa Hilla has 120 square metres of internal space and was built in 2018. This villa has three bedrooms, two toilets (one each floor), a fully equipped modern kitchen and a sauna complete with shower and changing room. Villa Hilla accommodates up to 8 people. The comfortable living room holds the lake view which is perhaps at its most impressive as the sun slowly sets over the horizon.
An atmospheric grill cabin and a large terrace equipped with a gas-fired barbeque are both ideal for outdoor cooking. A luxurious hot tub for up to 8 people is next to the terrace and may be accessed directly from the sauna. Even on the very coldest winter evening you can admire the stary sky and enjoy the sound of silence.
You can also have a dip in the lake from your private jetty – even in the winter – if you dare!
Hyvölä Houses is the perfect setting for fishing holidays, as you may rent a motorboat of your choice (with a motor from 4 up to a 50 hp) and fishing equipment or even hire the villa host as a guide in order to help secure the catch.
In wintertime, along with skiing, fishing with nets and ice fishing are popular activities. A likely catch could include zander, pike and perch. Jigging tasty perch is especially popular.
Directly next door to the villa is the great outdoors, perfect for picking mushrooms and berries.
Ähtäri Zoo with its Snow Panda House and 18-hole Ähtäri golf course, with its amazing lake view, are both located close by. The ‘Village shop’ Keskinen is a mere 25 minutes’ drive away.
